Sekweha

For the youth

Sekweha means “for the youth” in Dene. An integral part of the Chipewyan Prairie First Nation and a safe haven for children of all ages, Sekweha is a community-led initiative that encourages and empowers youth through positive programming and activities. Sekweha’s vision is for a healthy, safe and sustainable community that helps children and young people gain the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to be successful and make a positive contribution to their community.
