Amanda is a driven entrepreneur with a diversified career and more than 15 years’ experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Her small-town roots, values, determination and work ethic — handed down from generations of farmers and business owners on both sides of her family — serve her well as the director of a growing company.

After completing a degree in public relations, Amanda worked in business development and marketing for Alberta’s leading oil and gas service providers and completed her MBA in May 2016, followed by an additional semester in France specializing in innovation and doing business in Europe. She is an expert in brand development and prides herself on providing other hardworking entrepreneurs with long-term marketing solutions that work.

Anna has more than 20 years of experience in IT and financial services and has a proven record of leading organizations through growth initiatives and customer-centric transformations. She holds an MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. 

Anna considers herself “customer obsessed” and delivers customer support with empathy, warmth and urgency. She is passionate about developing and executing strategies that solve business issues, elevate organizational performance and empower clients with powerful and easy-to-use solutions.

Growing up in a small village, Dmytro has always searched for different ways to express his creativity. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics but was always passionate about website design and coding his own simple projects. This passion inspired him to work for a design studio where he spent three years learning how to create professional websites, logos, graphics and print materials.

Dmytro has led the creative development of Trait’s projects for more than eight years, with a minimalist style and business mindset that are appreciated by clients across North America. Dmytro is an expert at creating designs that never overwhelm a client’s message, but rather complement and support it.

Nemanja has tried out various jobs and areas of work, from a warehouse clerk to a taxi driver, but never felt fulfilled in any of them. He finally found himself professionally when he quit his job nearly seven years ago and dedicated himself to coding and website development, which he had always been interested in. After six months of learning, he landed his first job. Since then, he’s been working on expanding his knowledge of programming and web development through continuous improvement.

Customer satisfaction is his top priority. Nemanja has mastered WordPress and has created more than 120 websites with clean semantic code, using mostly custom themes. He’s discovered that information technology is his passion and for the first time in his life he is doing something he truly loves. Nemanja pours this dedication into his work at Trait and this is clearly visible in his projects. Nemanja says, “If you love what you do, you’ll never have to work another day in your life.”

With a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Rumen has a decade of experience in search engine optimization, Google AdWords and Google Analytics. He ensures client businesses rise through search rankings to achieve optimal visibility and online presence. Rumen is passionate about his work and enjoys its ever-changing dynamic. The constant need for learning keeps Rumen intrigued by his field.

Rumen loves reading and spending time with his wife and daughter, and of course his cat, Cooper. He also enjoys gardening, so much so that he’s turned his balcony into a garden full of trees and flowers.

Rayna has a degree in communications and worked previously in the oil and gas industry, with more than 10 years of experience as a project and proposal writer, editor and communications team lead. Eager for a change, Rayna left her corporate job to pursue more creative communications work and to focus on a busy family life that she completely adores.

Rayna now brings more than 18 years of diverse communications experience to Trait, providing clients with all levels of account management and copy writing and editing. Whether it’s a small proof-read or a large-scale project, she enjoys the detail-oriented tasks of her work along with the occasions to be creative. Convinced that the solution to any problem begins with a good cup of coffee and a little bit of sunshine, Rayna loves working with the talented and creative team at Trait to offer clients exceptional marketing materials and solutions.

Milan’s education journey began with a focus on economics in high school, an interest that later earned him a Bachelor of Science degree in the field. After pursuing a career in accounting, he started his own business importing goods. Along the way, he discovered a passion for programming and became proficient in CSS, HTML, PHP, and WordPress development.

In his spare time Milan loves to travel and play basketball, and enjoys sharing his passion for the sport with his five-year-old son. Milan’s infectious enthusiasm and positive outlook on life make him a great addition to the Trait team, and he is eager to continue expanding his skill set alongside his colleagues.

Adrienne thrives in the dynamic world of digital marketing, drawing from more than 15 years of hands-on experience assisting clients across various marketing avenues, both digital and traditional. Her journey began in the realm of graphic design, where her passion for client interaction paved the way for her transition into account management.

Throughout her career, she has lent her expertise to diverse agencies, gaining valuable insights into corporate and non-profit sectors along the way. With a commitment to operational excellence, she enjoys connecting with individuals and brings enthusiasm to her role as an account manager here at Trait.

Jessie is a seasoned account manager with over 13 years’ experience in the IT industry. Hailing from Sydney, Australia and with a degree in media and cultural studies, Jessie is driven by a passion to integrate her account management expertise with her love for media and communications.

At Trait, Jessie is dedicated to cultivating trusted relationships and ensuring unparalleled client satisfaction. She finds inspiration in collaborating with a talented and innovative team.

Eden has a diverse education background, in political science and health and fitness, and an extensive work history in customer service and management for various retail companies. Her knowledge and experience as a store operations manager have allowed her to further her interest in business operations and grow her expertise in processes and efficiencies management.

Eden brings these strengths and her expert attention to detail to Trait’s operations, overseeing and streamlining our processes, improving customer experiences and assisting our Account Managers with project logistics, research, budgeting and client invoicing. When Eden isn’t busy at her computer, she enjoys spinning, baking and spending time with her cats.

A talented designer with an honour’s degree in graphic engineering and design, Milena understands both the technical and artistic aspects of graphic design and printing. Milena is proficient in creating vector graphics and enjoys working on illustrations for children the most. She’s also interested in front end development and has some basic coding skills. As a lover of the outdoors, she enjoys nature photography, hiking and biking, and is always looking for inspiration in the natural world.

Eileen is Trait’s finance manager. With a bachelor’s degree in economics and as a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant, Eileen has more than 10 years of diverse work experience in the financial and accounting sectors. She is driven, with strong data analysis and organization skills, and brings those qualities along with her financials expertise to the Trait team.

The sharpest eye on our team, Nancy has 25 years’ experience in media and communications, including 14 as a journalist and six as senior marketing writer in an agency setting. She has worked extensively with clients in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. You name the industry, she’s got the experience.

In addition to writing, she closely reviews all Trait projects prior to production. Nancy has traveled the world extensively and when she’s not dreaming of her next adventure, she’s holding down her 20-acre farm.

Sarah is a seasoned copywriter and content strategist with a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Illinois. Originally from Chicago, she spent over 15 years in San Francisco cultivating her expertise in operations, human resources and marketing across diverse industries ranging from small start-ups to nonprofits to major corporations. Sarah thrives on collaborating with clients to distill their goals and brand identity into creative concepts, resonant copy and dynamic social media strategies. In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling, tennis and fly fishing.
